Windy Birding!!!!
We decided to take Ashley to Pelee so when she goes back to Montana she can say she stood on the most southern tip of Canada.
The winds where from the south but the strength of them blasted sand at you when at the tip.
We found a large quantity of Red breasted Mergansers flying by and also swimming around the tip.
I wonder what this merganser was thinking as the wave came closer.
A nice group of Dunlins looked like they wanted to land at the tip but there was to many people so they headed down the shore line.
Sparrow field seemed quiet but managed to get these pictures of Dark eyed juncos and kinglets.
Hillman marsh had mute swans, blue herons in the main pond and over where the new blind is we found american pipits and one tree swallow which is getting pretty late for them?
